Here is a delicious recipe for ginger crinkles.
2/3 cup shortening
4 tbsp. molasses
3 tsp. baking soda
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp each ginger and cinnamon
Sift and then combine the moist and dry mixtures. It is easiest to use your hands to combine, however you may use spoon.
Shape into balls & roll in sugar. Place balls on cookie sheet.
Bake on 350 deg F in preheated oven. Bake for 15 mins or until cookies are done.
