It’s easy to grow sprouts at home

February 4, 2013

Its Monday and another snow day for the ladybugs. We really enjoyed being out in the crisp, cold air playing in the snow today. It wasn’t the kind of snow that you can make snowmen or snow forts with but it was great for shoveling and sliding 🙂

Seeing that it’s February thoughts of growing have begun to sprout up in my mind. So I’ve been growing sprouts to eat in my Easy Sprouter.

A while back I came across the Easy Sprout at Sproutamo. If you haven’t heard of the Easy Sprouter, it is an indoor growing system designed to easily grow sprouts in your own kitchen. The Easy Sprout looks like a large plastic drinking cup except it has a removable inner layer with air holes and removable lids. It’s made from BPA free materials and cleans up well after use.

My seed mix contains clover, alfalfa, and canola.

Sprouts! YUMMY!
