I found a Mosaic Stepping Stone Kit at a thrift shop a few weeks ago.
I only paid $4.99 for it and planned to save it as a summer surprise for the boys. We had a beautiful spring like day last week, so I decided to use it as a March Break activity. We love creating Stepping Stones. 🙂
We mixed the cement and prepared the mold.
Cement poured into the flip-flop mold.
We cut a stencil to help with placement of our mosaic.
Starting to look like a flip-flop.
This kit uses real stained glass pieces.
Searching for special pieces.
The finished product!
We had fun creating our stepping stone, it was the perfect March Break activity for an 8-year-old and a mom. I was so happy with this thrift shop find and recommend these type of kits for any beginner stepping stone crafter.
